My journey began with a simple passion for color that grew into a lifelong pursuit of all thing color. My studio thrives on creativity, exploration, and creating work that is meaningful and touches the soul.

Color has always been the heart of my creative expression. Whether I am dyeing fabric, creating monoprints, or working with encaustic medium, it is through color that I convey my artistic voice. Each piece I create—whether a journal or a wall hanging—is carefully handcrafted and truly one-of-a-kind. No two works are ever alike, which makes each a unique exploration of color and texture.
My journey as a creative began long ago, but it was a fabric hand-dyeing class in 2001 that profoundly shifted my perspective. I realized then that color itself was my true inspiration. This revelation led me to pursue a degree in visual arts at Eckerd College in 2002, where I refined my skills and began producing silk scarves and hand-dyed fabric wall hangings, sharing my passion at art shows. In 2015, I expanded my practice by incorporating encaustic medium with my dyed fabrics, creating mixed media wall hangings and encaustic wooden covers for my journals.
Nature, the beach, and the infinite nuances of color draw me to my subject matter. I am deeply inspired by the color field movement, particularly artists like Mark Rothko, Helen Frankenthaler, Hans Hofmann and others.
My technique involves working intimately with hand-dyed silk, linen, and cotton fabrics, often combining them with encaustic medium. This fusion of materials and media creates layered textures and vibrant surfaces that invite the viewer into a sensory experience of color. Through my art, I invite others to share in the joy and stillness that color brings to my life.
